Park Futsal Club continued their flawless run this season, securing a 2-1 victory against Kisenyi FC in a captivating match on game day seven at Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Friday.
The 2021/22 FSL Champions have now triumphed in all seven of their matches, maintaining a three-point lead at the summit of the betPawa Futsal Super League standings.
The hard-fought win on Friday required a second-half goal from Shafiq Mulangira, securing three points against a resilient Kisenyi side in arguably their most challenging test yet.
Mulangira’s decisive goal, eight minutes from time, tilted the balance in Park’s favor after Michael Abura’s first-minute opener was swiftly equalized by Kisenyi’s Ategeka Marvin.

Following this loss, Kisenyi now finds themselves third on the log with 15 points, trailing leaders Park by six points.
In the second position is FC Luzira, amassing 18 points from their seven games. Luzira staged an impressive comeback, overturning a two-goal deficit to defeat ASKA 7-5 in another Friday fixture.
In his league debut this season, Samuel Omara netted three goals for Luzira, ensuring they remained within three points of Park.
Joshua Aziku and Remex Kasozi also contributed to Luzira’s goal tally, while Sinani Kiyaga and Ali Miti scored braces for ASKA in a commendable but losing effort.
Another Friday clash witnessed Michael Lubowa scoring three times for Lubaga Grameen, leading them to a 4-2 victory over Kampala Junior Team and marking a return to the winning column.

With 42 games completed, only Kawempe and Aidenal remain winless, while Park stands as the sole unbeaten team, maintaining a perfect 100% record.
The league will resume next week with match day eight games scheduled from Thursday, January 11th, to Friday, January 12th, 2023.
