betPawa FSL: Park overcome Kisenyi to maintain their lead atop

Park Futsal Club continued their flawless run this season, securing a 2-1 victory against Kisenyi FC in a captivating match on game day seven at Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Friday.

The 2021/22 FSL Champions have now triumphed in all seven of their matches, maintaining a three-point lead at the summit of the betPawa Futsal Super League standings.

The hard-fought win on Friday required a second-half goal from Shafiq Mulangira, securing three points against a resilient Kisenyi side in arguably their most challenging test yet.

Mulangira’s decisive goal, eight minutes from time, tilted the balance in Park’s favor after Michael Abura’s first-minute opener was swiftly equalized by Kisenyi’s Ategeka Marvin.

Joshua Aziku and Remex Kasozi also contributed to Luzira’s goal tally, while Sinani Kiyaga and Ali Miti scored braces for ASKA in a commendable but losing effort.

Another Friday clash witnessed Michael Lubowa scoring three times for Lubaga Grameen, leading them to a 4-2 victory over Kampala Junior Team and marking a return to the winning column.
