As the betPawa Futsal Super League matchday nine climaxed on Friday evening at Old Kampala Futsal Arena, Kisenyi FC returned to winning ways while Lubaga Grameen and Kisugu FC continued with their impressive forms.
Having lost their last three games, Kisenyi FC bounced back to secure victory, overcoming Mengo City 3-1 in a thrilling Mengo derby.

Abdullahi Abdulkarim’s brace and Bakar Yusuf’s contribution sealed the comeback.
Despite this win, Kisenyi maintains the third position on the 12-team log with 18 points from nine games. Meanwhile, Mengo drops to ninth place with only 10 points.
In other Friday fixtures, Kisugu extended their impressive streak, defeating Aidenal 4-0, with Kenneth Majara scoring twice alongside goals from Michael Birungi and Richard Mugisha.

Lubaga Grameen secured its third consecutive victory, beating Luzira 5-3, thanks to Michael Lubowa and Abdulkarim Omar’s braces.

After nine rounds, Park FC leads with 27 points, six ahead of Luzira FC in second place.
Kawempe FC, at the bottom, is yet to secure a point in their debut season, having conceded 65 goals and scored the least (12).
The 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League will resume with matchday ten action starting from Thursday, January 25th, to Friday, January 26th.
